Hello, I made a cake yesterday, vanilla pudding with fresh strawberries as a filling. Its been in the fridge overnite, but i have to take it out to decorate today. Her party is at 5pm. Will it remain fresh if i decorate at 10am? she is picking it up at 11am.

thanks!!

Sure the cake will be fresh, however she'll need to keep it refrigerated until party time.

Fresh berries will "weep" if kept out of the fridge too long. I'd advise her to take the cake out of the fridge about 1 hr prior to serving.

Are they just flat cutouts or modeled figures?

The cutouts will be fine, they may sweat a bit when you take them out of the fridge, just advise her not to touch them and to allow the condensation to evaporate into the air.

If you have figures I'd keep them off the cake until later.
