I'm from Australia and I am after a new mixer. The last one I had was 30 years + and died on me whilst in the middle of making a very dense large batch of fruit cake! I ended up mixing the rest by hand.

I know if I had to buy another one in this country, it would be Kenwood. What is your brand of choice and where is the best place you would buy?

I was thinking about having a look at some when I arrive in the States next month. I will visit LA, Vegas & New York (also Miami and some others but not enough time to shop for this sort of thing). I realise with the shipping cost, it is possible it won't be worth buying from another country but thought I'd look into it anyway.

The Kenwood I found was a 6.7 Litre bowl.
