Me too please! It is one of my missions in life, to find the ultimate caramel sauce/filling recipe!
I'm guessing she's talking about cooking a can of sweetened condensed milk, but I may be wrong.

Thanks JodieF...One question tho...You mention that you use it to frost also, do you mix it with buttercream to ice a cake? TIA
I used it to ice apple cupcakes so no, I just used it straight. I have mixed it with buttercream though, and with SMBC.

Hi everyone
I am not sure what the recipe the other person has but here is mine and it is very popular and so easy you will never go back once you have tried it.
Take 1 can sweetend condensed milk
put in pan cover completely with cold water
bring to boil
reduce to a simmer make sure can stays covered at all time with water I keep my teapot handy with hot water to refill with
continue simmering for 3 hours from boiling time
let cool in can in water
after cool I always make in morning and is ready by night
open can and enjoy

Jodie's recipe is the best, easy, fast and so DELICIOUS. The only bad thing about it is if I have any in the fridge it CALLS out to me!
Luvbugcreations - I've seen a lot of CC'ers love that recipe - but I would like a recipe where I don't have to worry about a can that might explode. I've seen another recipe here where you cook the canned milk in a pan, not in the can. I'll try to find it.
