It has been raining since about 11pm last night.

I was up until almost 4 finishing chocolate chip sandwich cookies and NFSC angels iced and decorated.

I was awoken this morning around 10 by the dead battery alarm in the smoke detector.

I've gotten all the cookies packaged up and I need to drop them off at the church downtown for the community fund raiser and then I need to go to BJ's and the grocery store for weekly and Superbowl party groceries.

But it's still raining.

All I want to do is go soak in a hot tub and read a book.

Why can't my car run my errands for me?

I know the feeling.


But I trade you your rain for my snow. It looks really, really pretty, sort of like in a movie, just so nice and fluffy.
