Hi All!

I am going to "TRY" to make my first Gumpaste Anemone. I see that the pictures of others have the center with Black Stems. Where the heck do I find Black stems???

Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Fondant Sorce.com only sells WHITE. Is there a way I can paint them black??

I tried in the past paiting candy sticks black for a cake with Wilton icing color, but it NEEEEVER dried.

Any suggestions??

These aren't going to be something you find at the local craft store.

Go to Google and search Black Flower Stamens. I just did and it pulled up several websites than sell them.

Some stamens can be dyed by dipping in icing color mixed with vodka. It just depends on the kind of stamen, if it will take the color or not.
