I've made homemade fondant before, and I notice all recipes call for unflavored gelatin. can you use flavored gelatin for color and flavor and still have a stable recipe? Should I use a little more of flavored gelatin on account of additional ingredients in the flavored ones? Has anyone tried it? does it taste awful?
I know you can flavor fondant using an extract like orange, lemon, almond etc.or using candy oils but i was just curious..
