Hi everyone,
I have a friend who is making a football and can't figure out how to do the texture on Fondant. Any ideas?

When I made little basketball cookies covered in fondant, I used a mesh strainer and just rolled it over the fondant. It created the perfect look. icon_smile.gif

You can also try using a textured paper towel (not Viva). Lay it on there and smooth it lightly with your hands. It'll leave a bumpy pattern on your cake.

I use those rubber drawer liners. I got mine from the dollar store.

I used the 233 grass tip. Just put it on my finger and went to town tapping on the fondant. Took awhile, but I really liked the result!

I used the fine side of a box grater gently pressed on the fondant
