I have to make a large tommy gun outta gumpaste and fondant. can I make it out of pieces then put it together? what could I use to stick the pieces together?

after making all the peices.. while g/p is still fresh.. use edible glue. i like the glue made with tylose and water.. the sugar glue. using fondant and water or g/p and water also is good..

Ty icer101.... is it a bad idea to work on it in stages?~kinda have a time issue.

i,m thinking.. as long as one peice is still fresh and next peice is dry.. then you still can use the edible glue.. but if both peices are dry.. then you have to use r/i.... i,ve never made anything at different times.. just at one sitting.. ha! i will look this up.. but also.. maybe someone else mite see this and help you too. but , i think i am correct.

icer101 I just found a previous post about gum paste glue. It should work icon_twisted.gif
