Do you hire an accountant or do your own? If you do it, what software do you use?

Thanks,

I hired an accountant even before I started my business, just for the setup and what I needed to do and not do. Ask other small businesses in your area to recommend someone. Mine specializes in small businesses and I dont know what I would do without him. They know laws and workarounds we would have never heard of!

We do our own payroll though Quickbooks makes it pretty easy

I just use turbotax for small businesses. I'm pretty careful about deductions, so I keep good records throughout the year. If you're not sure about your ability to keep good records it might be better to hire an accountant!
