I always freeze my fondant covered cakes and have not had any problems. But I would like to use an edible marker on an upcoming cake.

For all you fondant freezers out there...I'm wondering if I write, then freeze, will it run when it thaws. I let my cakes come to room temp with the wrappers on so the condensation comes off on the wrapper. I'm guessing it would smudge it. Anyone experience this?

Are there issues if I freeze the cake, then write on the cake once it's dried?

Thanks!
