I know this is a silly question icon_rolleyes.gif How do I store cut pieces of cake that have icing on them? I want to freeze each piece of cake.

If you want to freeze each piece of cake, place each piece on a plate and place it in the freezer. Once the pieces are firm, you can wrap each of them with plastic wrap twice, then foil. I would then place all the wrapped up pieces in a freezer safe plastic bag.

THis is how I would do it. Put them in a small disposable dish, covered really well in plastic wrap, and then in heavy duty foil. To thaw just pull them out of the freezer and let them sit without taking off the plastic or foil until thawed out. good luck!
