I bought Extra Black paste color and colored my gumpaste. It looked ok but after drying it is dark blue and not black. It's a bridal party and the men are wearing black suits. So I painted the figurines black but they got all sticky even after 24 h drying time.

I still have parts left that I need to get black - any advise? can I add a little green, yellow or brown for example to teh gumpaste to mute down the blue tone?

ANY help much appreciated

I will tell you from my own battle with black fondant if you are using white or ivory forget about it lol. Start w/ chocolate fondant and life will be sooo much easier! icon_biggrin.gif
