Hi to all, hope u are having a great day.
I was trying to get some ideas,PLEASE I have been brain storming
I am making a cake for a friends 3 year old twins girl and a boy.
The girl likes disney princess and the little boy likes spiderman.
I was trying to make one cake and incoperate both but not sure if that will
work, any ideas would be APPRECIATED thank you so much
How fun!
How about making spiderman climbing up the side of the cake to the top to "rescue" a princess of choice. You could make the side of the cake look like his web and the top like a castle with a princess.
Do a search for "Twins" - lots of ideas came up there.
You could do 2 smaller round cakes one with spiderman and the other with a princess.
You could also do a stacked cake. On the bottom layer, color it dark blue (like the sky) and have fondant buildings around, spiderman can be climbing up the side of the cake on the buildings and the top layer can be the princess layer. lol Just an idea!!
This one could easily be done for spiderman/princess!

This one is really cute too if you just want a sheetcake.

Honestly, I think the kids would each LOVE getting their own, smaller, cake. I've known several adult twins, and one of their biggest complaints about being a twin was the "combined" birthday cake, especially in cases of mixed gender twins! So, I would do two cakes.
I agree that twins, especially boy/girl twins would each want their own cake, maybe not at the age of 3, but at some point. For my six year old boy/girl twins, I made a doll cake for her, which was super easy using the doll cake mold by Wilton and a Spiderman cake, just and 8" round, I decorated them both in one night! I have pictures if you want to see!
Thanks guys, I agree making two cakes would be better I Have twins myself so I agree with two cakes the mom wanted one but I love he doll idea as well I would love to see the pics thank you so much!!!!
