this may seem a dumb question..but i am dumb and quite clueless!! icon_lol.gif
what i would like to know is... if i cover the cake dummy in fondant only will i be able to wash and re-use it?

Not a dumb question at all!

Yes, you can wash it and reuse it. Even if you covered it with royal or buttercream, you could still wash and reuse.

Some people put their dummies in the dishwasher. I just soak mine in the sink until the fondant dissolves enough where I can hack it off in large chunks.
