Any ideas on how to make this into a cake? Plan is for a chocolate pound cake with MMF. Sails out of Gumpaste, using edible ink for the markings. Mast and railings need to be silver. I also plan on two tiny golden retrievers, to represent the owners dogs.

I'm most in need of help figuring out the mast and railings, and how to get the GP to dry in a curved sheet. I am willing to use non-edibles if necessary, but don't have many (non-cake) tools.

Oh wow, that looks like it will be a beautiful cake! When I need to dry curved fondant, I use a block of styro or florist foam, carve it to the shape/curve I need, then place a sheet of parchment (to make food safe) and lay the piece over top. Dries in whatever shape you want it to. HTH! Good luck on the cake!
