I Have been asked to make a wedding cake. Haven't said yes yet. Thought i'd pass along this idea to see if you guys think this can be done and how I would go about doing it?

The bride wants a 2 layer cake that looks like a basket. The thing I need help with is she wants cupcakes with roses on top of the cuppies, She wants the cupcakes to look like they are down in the basket, Can this be achieved by carving out the center of the basket cake? Any ideas and suggestions please.

How many cupcakes are we talking about? And is the basket cake suppose to serve all the guest, or are you doing sheet cakes or some other cakes?
If the basket cake is to be served you can cut a hole in it and put the cupcakes into it, Sounds cute, Post a pic .

Take a minute and breathe. It doesn't sound hard. I'll bet if you think about it a while you'll figure it out easy-peasy.
