Can anyone tell me how to make a stem for a rose i have tried candy clay but it doesnt support the weight of the rose also have tried melting sugar only to find myself getting burned and the stems arent straight or smooth but i did try dipping melted sugar in the choc to smooth it out but it didnt work haha why does it always seem easier than what it is..please help me

Are you putting wire in the fondant/chocolate?

augh thank you!! i didnt even think of that..can you tell me what kind of wire i would need and would i just roll the wire into the choc clay like making a reg stem?

Ok i tried using craft wire but still not strong enough to support the rose any other suggestions?

It depends on what gauge wire you are using. 20g is strong.
