When you are going to use fresh flowers on a wedding cake, do you arrange for the flowers be delivered to your premises first thing in the morning OR does the florist deliver it the the venue a few hours prior set up? Also, will the wired flowers automatically be in posy picks or do you have to put them in posy picks at the venue? Can I request the flowers to be in posy picks?

I usually say "have them waiting for me there, I will be delivering at this time".

You can say posy picks before, but it would be wise to bring your own in case they aren't. Which they most likely won't be.

but don't you need to put fondant / royal icing in the posy picks before you stick the wires through so they can be secure?
