I'm sure this is a silly question for most people on here. But how the heck do you deliver a tier cake?
None of the cake boxes around here are big enough to put a tier cake in

it is not a silly question. I remember my first tiered delivery !!! what a nightmare.. if I can spare you that experience i wll try my best...

I never deliver a tier cake whole. first...measure each tier.. go to a package store like UPS and buy a box that is big enough for each tier to fit in comfortably ..including room to get your hands in the box to remove it. boxed cakes are easy to travel and once you get to your destination assemble the cake there. Packaging stores have ALL sizes of boxes. I usually line my boxes with wax paper (that is taped down) just to keep everything clean. And you can break the boxes back down and store them for your next cake !! I hope this helps.
