Hi! Lucky you! Sounds like a fun trip! We have a small but good cake supply shop here in Henderson, Nevada (about 25 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip). The name of the store is Tempting Treasures by Jan. It is on Water Street. I don't remember the exact address right now, but if you PM me I can get you directions.

Like already mentioned, check out Tempting Treasures by Jan at Henderson (really close to Vegas), Chef Rubber in Las Vegas, Sur la Table at Miracle Miles Shops and Las Vegas Gourmet for your ingredients (fondant, couverture, etc)

Tempting Treasures is a small place but she has nice things. She has a few flower cutters, some lace molds, trims, basic supplies and lots of candy making supplies. Many of her things are pretty expensive though. Oh and drop by Chef Flemming's, he has some good pastries.

Chef Rubber in the other hand is one of my favorite places to shop. Hundreds of molds, a few scroll cutters and thousands of other things related to pasties.

Sur La Table is pretty expensive. I never really shop there. LV Gourmet sells fondant for 60 for a 20 pound bucket.

Good luck.

Everything is really expensive in Hawaii because they have to fly everything to them. You may not want to even try to find a place there. Las Vegas is probably your best bet.

Sounds like a great trip. I hope you have a lot of fun!!
