I bought the blue silicon snowflake mold from GSA and was wondering if anyone had any pointers to using it. I can get the mold to release, but I am having a hard time getting the gumpaste into the mold completely without having a lot of excess hanging around the edges. Thanks!

Here's a thread on how to fill the mold properly:

Thanks JanH. I have used molds before, without any issue, but none of them are as shallow as this snowflake mold and as I try to remove the excess, I end up pulling the whole thing out or it ends up sticking to my fingers.

Thanks... I just got this, too, and was wondering the same thing. The snowflakes are so much smaller than I imagined they would be.
