I am going to make a cookie cake for my BIL's birthday. Any ideas on a way to decorate it?

The simplest design would be to pipe a border around the edges and then write your message in the middle.

i like the ones iced, then with things chucked on top - marshmallows, chocolate chips, sauces, sprinkles, maltesers..... mmm!
