I need some ideas! My son & daughter's 2nd birthday is coming up (they are twins). I went with this theme: http://www.partycity.com/p2p/searchResults.do?method=view&search=basic&keyword=party+pups&sortby=priceAscend&page=1 because they LOVE dogs. The only problem is, I'm not sure what to do with the cake! Obviously, I'll put some pawprints on it & I bought a candle that has a puppy printed on it. Other than this though I'm stuck. Any ideas??

Those colors are great and it would look nice to have a striped tier and one with pawprints. I googled dog cake topper and found these: http://www.cheftools.com/Lucks-Dec-Ons-Small-Dog-Collection-70-Pack/productinfo/08-0385/ which would be really cute either scattered over the cake or as borders.

I have those exact same sugared dog heads and my DD and the kids in her class at school LOVE them!!!

They're so nice and almost look "soft" in person, but they're sugar. Very lifelike!!

Here is a mini cake I did with some of those on it, oh and some cupcakes. Everytime there is any function going on at the school they want the dog cakes/cupcakes LOL

just wanted to add, this is where I ordered mine and it's only $13 instead of $24

Wow, they look great! That's cheap enough too that I might have to get some icon_biggrin.gif Do they sell to the public or only to businesses?

Cool! Thanks for the idea! I was thinking $24 was a bit much but $13 isn't too bad... thanks!

I think it would be really cute to do paw prints leading up to an actual dog on a tiered cake! icon_smile.gif

Sorry - that didn't sound right - icon_redface.gif I didn't mean a real dog, of course, I meant a fondant or cake dog!
