I fancy trying my hand at cupcakes and have read that the wilton 1m tip gets the best results - I can't seem to be able to find a supplier in the uk does anyone know of one please, my eyes are going googly just looking!!!!

Their p&p is a bit on the high side - especially if you're only ordering one item!! I'm lucky that I can nip in the car and get to them (although they've recently moved and instead of less than 5 minutes drive, they're now 25 minutes)

Minkiemoo, just try and get hold of a very large star tip. I bought a very reasonable set of 3 Tala nozzles plus an icing bag for £5.99. The C4 and S4 nozzle in the set work just fine for both ordinary and mini cup cakes, examples below. I tend to use the C4 the most which is the open star but it is personal preference.

You should be able to pick this set up easily in the UK in any good kitchen shop.
