How Do I Ship A Cake?

It only has to go about 120 miles. I just dont have time ot deliver it to a friend. Any suggestion? plz help icon_biggrin.gif

Don't think you can really ship a cake. Maybe get someone to drive it??

I shipped a fondant covered 9X12X4 fondant covered book cake to NYC (from Florida) by Fedex. Cost $118. Wrapped in saran wrap put in same size box, Then out in larger box with lots of peanuts. It got there in one piece. Even the gumpaste decos stayed in please. Doable, but very expensive.
