how do i marbleize chocolate and vanilla cake layer?

Make vanilla cake batter. Take some out (maybe a cup) and add melted chocolate to it. Mix it well. Pour the vanilla cake batter into your pan(s). Then drop some of the chocolate into the vanilla batter and take a knife and swirl it around.

The last cakes i made when I did this is, once I had the vanilla and chocolate batter, i alternated putting spoons of each batter going around the cake tin, and then just layering it up with the batter and then got a skewer and swirled it through the tin
