ok i plan to use foam for a cake, so i can practice more. What do i use for the fondant to stick to the foam?

I use just a bit of water - damp not wet. Others cover the foam with shortening.

I've heard of using water,shortening,pam and piping gel.
HTH.

Mist the styro w/ water.
