I need a chocolate glaze that will dry hard and hopefully shiny for my cookies - can anyone help?

Thanks.

I know they make chocolate extract, but can't recall who sells it.
Sorry.
Did you try googling it?

If you use any of the glace recipes, like Toba's, you can just add cocoa to it. I've done it and it works just fine and tastes yummy! All you have to add is adjust consistency with milk or corn syrup. Don't have to use much cocoa either, it's pretty strong.

I'm actually looking for a recipe for something similar to what the italian bakeries dip their cookies in and then add sprinkles.

I should have been clearer!

Thanks.

Do you mean melted chocolate??? Just melt some chocolate chips in the microwave and dip away!
