I'm making a princess cake this weekend for a friend and I don't have the Wilton stand up doll pan. Do I need to purchase it or will my Wilton ball pan work just the same? (w/ added cake rounds)

Has anyone made a princess doll cake using the Wilton ball pan? And if so, do you have any pics?? icon_confused.gif

Thanks so much in advance for anyone who can help!!!!!!!

I just used three rounds in varying sizes and carved to look like a skirt. I think the Wilton Wondermold makes Barbie look very hippy - lol. It was easy to carve the skirt. The picture of my cake is in my photos.

I just used a metal bowl that I had on hand, and it worked fine.
