Please help me with some ideas... I want to make the most amazing cake my grandmother has ever seen for her 90th birthday this month..... but I am brain dead.

There will be a large celebration party and the colors are white, pink and burgundy..... and she HATES fondant so that is out of the question.

Can you please help me with some ideas or links to pictures of your favorite cakes? They can be round, square, multi-tiered... but no fondant and it must be fabulous.

Thanks in advance..

A 90th birthday - how wonderful! While I have no specific ideas to offer, maybe you should start by thinking about your grandmother's favorite things for inspiration. What makes her happy? Any hobbies or special talents or achievements you would like to highlight? How much cake do you need/want? Maybe a few more details will spark some ideas. But, a stack of presents and/or hatbox cakes are appropriate for just about anything and can be done in BC with some removable gumpaste decorations like bows or flowers.
