Im making a 3d lobster cake for a bday party and im pretty new at stuff like this, ive never made a 3d before.
Im thinking of carving out the lobster and covering it in red fondant (first time with fondant, but was going to use MMF) and then putting it on a rectangle layer cake. Im not sure if i should use buttercream or blue fondant to cover this part, and if i can even put the fondant lobster over the buttercream. The last thing is that they want the cake to be made with boxed funfetti cake mix... so yeah... any tips? anything would be appreciated haha icon_eek.gif
