My son want a Star Wars Cake for his birthday. I have not made a complicated cake in years. He really likes the R2D2 and the Mustafar cake but I do not know how to make them. Can anyone help me?

The R2 in my pics was made from an 8x3, 2 6inch and a half ball pan. I carved out the bottom feet from the 8 inch and used leftover cake to go up the side for the "arms". The rest is basically fondant cutting out. I didn't use any rice krispie treats, it's all cake (it's too much work for me to have to make RKT AND cake!!)
