If I take a cupcake recipe and make mini cupcakes how do I adjust the baking time? Is there a trick to it?

Nope. Just bake them "until they're done". Way less baking time, obviously. I haven't used a timer in years.

I made mini's for the first time last week. Beware....I got 72 of the little guys out of a standard cake mix. Very cute but putzy since I only had 2 pans that held 12 each. Anyway, I think mine were in for 10-12 minutes at 325. Just watch them and check them with a pick like a cake or regular cuppies. Then you will have the timing for the next batches.

depends on the size of your liners and pan, believe it or not there are a few differenct size of mini's... it should be anywhere from 10 -13 minutes...

good luck
