I did it. I just finished my first wedding cake. I recreated the cake in the first photo and for the most part I am very pleased for being a "Rookie". Any comments/critique is more than welcome

You did a great job, the snowflakes are beautiful! Keep up the good work and lets see more wedding cakes of yours now that you have one "under your belt" so to say. icon_lol.gif Maybe I will try snowflakes someday, they are so pretty, just haven't done them yet.

I think you did an awesome job!

I must ask this, does anyone think the inspiration picture looks a bit odd, does it look like to you the cake is actually floating and not even sitting on the background cloth? Not that that makes a difference the cake is lovely but something seems weird to me about the photo.
