I just received the Gelatin in Bloom book, and I am trying to make some butterflies but the book doesn't say how long it takes them to be ready once on the veining sheets. Can anyone tell me?

The gelatin should be set if you just leave it overnight. It really depends on how thick you spread it, but I wouldn't think less than a few hours.

I let mine dry overnight and the next day you will see them raising up along the edges. I move the plastic sheet a little and most of the butterflies pop off or just need a little help. Good luck
