Lmao!...where you guys find this stuff!...Hilarious!
I found a fabulous website that has their own brand of beautiful pixie glitter for cakes, etc... And their shipping cost is far below Sam's!
I would never consider getting regular glitter close to my cakes. Most of our products are made in China now, and their standards are way different from ours. Yes, it says nontoxic, but many of the toys they made had lead and other problem substances as well. If it doesn't say it's edible, I'd be way too afraid to use it on food.
Oh man I was cracking up reading this forum! You're all too funny haha!
Does anyone know how disco dust compares to extra fine glitter? I was at Joann's and saw that fine glitter is way smaller then regular glitter, and the extra fine is even smaller than the fine glitter. The extra fine glitter looks like disco dust to me...it says non-toxic just like disco dust. Has anyone looked into this?!?!!?
AYes, that was the whole point of this thread. :D It's the same thing, same plastic, same everything, only Disco Dust is cut finer. I've never seen craft glitter that was cut quite as fine, but close. Either way, not for eating.
AFor decorations that will be removed, ok. I use it on occasion, but not directly on the cake
