I am making cookies with a chocolate ganache swirl on top. Do I have to refrigerate the cookies afterward? If I swirl them as I need them then I will be refrigerating and softening the ganache as needed and that can't be good either.

Thank you.

ganache does not need to be refrigerated, it can be left out for a good 5 days or so. after that, i always refrigerate it (also refrigerate leftovers)

Thank you, pattycakes. You just saved me a lot of last minute pressure and put me at ease.
