A good place to start would be the How Do I forum. Lots of great info in there that will help.

How did you do the cakes in your gallery? What steps did you follow for those? Not being a smarta$$, it your question at first sounded like you had not done a cake before, then I noticed your cakes, so was wondering....well, what did you for those? icon_biggrin.gif

ohhh, i did those cakes. But i was wondering what steps people take. Because i am thinking i am doing it wrong. Since i let the cake cool i put flavor in the middle then i right away cover with butter cream and then right away cover with fondant. So i see that some people cover it in butter cream then put it on the fridge, the cover it again, then let it stand then cover fondant. So i am confused lol

Also in carving the cake i see people put it in the fridge then carve. So i wanted the steps.
