looking for a recipe i guess it is a frosting type. They usually use it to glue together ginger bread houses. I need to connect foam to a plate so it hardens.

It sets up pretty quickly, but once you are completely done you need to let harden before you try and move it.
You don't want your royal icing to be too runny either.

It can take anything from a few hours to 24 hours to harden depending on the recipe, he consistency and how much you use.
