So here I am with a bunch of fondant strips drying to make a bow. There's some powdered sugar on it still, for which I was planning on borrowing an airbrush and spraying vodka on to get rid of. However I've just discovered my friend does not have an airbrush. Can I lightly brush on the vodka to get rid of the sugar?

I just use a paper towel with some crisco on it and wipe the whole thing down

I thought about that, but then there's the crimped areas inside the bow that I can't really get at. I guess I could just put a teeny bit on a brush
