Hopefully not a stupid question: But if you bake a cake with mayo in it, does it need to be refrigerated?

I would say no. You bake a cake with eggs in it, and it can sit out.

No fridge needed - I remember growing up having chocolate cake baked with mayo in the batter - did well out on the counter, and as TexasSugar said, you bake with eggs!

It should be fine, most cakes have eggs/dairy in them and are fine out at room temp.

Nope not all (just what the other's said). Mayo is oil and eggs mostly and you use both in most cake mixes.
