I have a client who is requesting a chocolate chip filling inside the cake. I've never done this before. Would is simply be chopping the chips a little smaller and mixing with buttercream or is there something better? PLEASE HELP
If that were me, I would make up a bavarian creme recipe and mix in those tiny chocolate chip mini's. It would taste like heaven, and the texture of the bavarian creme custard would really show off the chips, because it is more translucent than BC in my HUMBLE not expert opinion!
