Sorry to post this question. I looked in the search feature and didn't find anything so here goes. I am looking for guidance on making a tiara for my kids birthday cake. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you are talking about how to make a royal icing tiara, try this:

Hi, here is a great tutorial on making a gumpaste tiara from sugarshack,

http://sugaredblog.blogspot.com/2008/10/making-gumpaste-crown.html

The other way to make is to get a template and pipe over it with royal icing. You can find lot of templates in the Sketches and Patterns sections.

If you want to make a gumpaste one, I have some notes made on how to do the ones like I do. I can pm them to you.

PM sent - if you have any questions, just ask!

I will work on pics for a tutorial on this tomorrow - and then submit it.

I forgot to tell you that I make those balls and flatten them to cover any of the bigger intersections of gumpaste - you can see in the pic where they are. (use the gumglue to attach them)
