I am making cakes for a special event this coming Saturday. I plan on making 2 standing wooden soldiers but I'm stuck at how to attach the arms so they hang to the sides of the soldiers. I did make a standing Staypuft for my grandson and used metal angle for the arms, with his arms bent at the elbow. I was thinking of using a wooden board as the shoulder and securing the dowel rods for the arms and then covering the dowl rods with rice krispie treats and then fondant. But I'm afraid that will leave a noticable area on the body of the soldier. I could use all the help I can get!!! Please help!!!
