I am sure this has been asked before but could you tell me the best way to put fondant accents on an all buttercream iced cake? I am making a cake for work and want to put a fondant bow but want to make sure I put the ribbons on where they will stay.

I would assume that you are putting the bow on top of the cake. You can build up a "blob" of icing and stick your bow in it if you want...
