I am making a 2 tier cake for my birthday. I want the bottom layer to be striped vertically black white and pink.. But i have never done this before.
I would think that you cover the cake in fondant first and then glue the stripes on over the top??
Its going to be a square cake.. any suggestions on how to make the stripes even on the corners?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks Rach
I would mark lines on the top of the cake going from the corners to the center and then as you lay the fondant strips on the cake, cut the strips along the lines with scissors.
Hi,
