I often use fondant for 3d figurines and decorations but would like to try molding chocolate. Is molding chocolate easier to use? Does it harden like fondant? Any preferences one way or the other?

Hi there:
I have often used both fondant and modeling chocolate for sculpting. they both have thier pros and cons. working with modeling chocolate can be a challenge. Fondant has to be mixed with tylose or gumpaste if you want it to set up otherwise it could take a very very long time for it to dry. I'm sure someone else with better input will come along.
