I am making a little skeleton head smash cake frosted in white butter cream. I would like to do the eyes/nose/mouth in black fondant. Do you think the black fondant will bleed into the white butter cream?

No as long as you don't get the back of it too wet when attaching it.

It will if you refrigerate it and then condensation forms when it is coming to room temp... know this from experience.

If you keep it dry and at room temp throughout, you should be fine.

It will be fine as long as the black fondant doesn't slip. Just put a little bit of vanilla (or whatever you're using).
