Servings For Purse Cake, Help Please :(

good evening,

I'm looking for your help once again Embarassed, i have to make a louis vuitton purse cake and its my first. but i dont know how much cake to use so that it looks life size the purse is actually about 12" in lenght and about 7'' in height and depth of about 7'' as well im so confused because i do not want to undercharge or over charge would you be able to give me some pointers?

to make one with about these dimensions i would bake a 11x15 cake. 2" deep. cut the cake into 3 sections - 11x6, 11x5, 11x4. and stack and start trimming, the 11x15 has 35 servings, so after you have trimmed some away you'll probably be left with up to 30 servings. whether they cut it into 30 servings is up to them. since you know what size cake to bake you can now price it accordinly, obviously more for the shaped cake.
