Will they be okay? Made WASC and forgot the sour cream. What do you think? Should I remake?
I would re-make....there is a pretty large amount of sour cream in WASC and it does make the cake very moist. is this something you can taste test before you serve it? It may not taste bad, but won't be as moist as it COULD be.
I made them into cuppies. I made one for a friend who will taste tonight. What about a simple syrup before I frost them? Would that help?
Simple Syrup may help a little bit. it's worth a try. Even without the sour cream, you still have all the ingredients for a regular box cake, so it's going to be good to MOST people, anyway.
If you made yor WASC into cupcakes why not fill them? That would make them really tasty but as the previous post said you have all the ingredients for a box mix anyway.
